Bipartisan Workforce Development Legislation Hits 100-Cosponsor MilestoneWASHINGTON— The bipartisan, bicameral Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act (H.R. 1477 / S. 722) continues to build momentum on Capitol Hill, with more than 100 Members of Congress cosponsoring the House legislation in less than nine months since introduction. The American Society of Associations Executives (ASAE) and community partners established the Tomorrow’s Workforce Coalition, which includes more than 760 trade associations, professional societies and businesses, to help maximize Congressional support for the beneficial workforce development bill.
