Six Organizations to Be Recognized with ASAE’s Highest Honor for Promoting Invaluable Contributions by Associations
WASHINGTON— ASAE today is announcing that six organizations will receive ASAE’s highest honor for the association community: the Power of Associations Summit Award, conferred for their work during the past year to celebrate and promote the invaluable contributions that associations make to America and the world. The awards will be presented at the Summit Awards Dinner on September 28, 2023, at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC.
In addition to the Summit Award winners, 25 associations also will be honored with Power of Associations Gold Awards and 25 organizations received Power of Associations Silver Awards. The recipients were selected by ASAE’s Power of Associations Awards Committee.
"Society continuously faces swift transformations and evolving challenges, which can only be successfully navigated via nimbleness and creativity. Associations are uniquely positioned to address those challenges, both for their members and for the broader communities they serve,” said Mark A. Vasquez, CAE, senior program manager, IEEE TechEthics, and Chair of the Power of Associations Awards Committee. “My colleagues on the Awards Committee and I were greatly impressed by the leadership and innovation reflected in the work done by the recipients of the 2023 Power of Associations Awards. Whether large or small in size, they have demonstrated the power associations have in improving our local and global communities.”
This year’s Summit Award recipients are:
- American Farm Bureau Federation, Harvest for All
- Arkansas Bankers Association, Operation VaxSpeed
- Association for Home and Hospice Care of NorthCarolina, Addressing the Serious Shortage of RNs in Home Health, and Hospice in NC
- Edison Electric Institute, Shaping the Inflation Reduction Act to Benefit EEI’s Member Companies and All of Their Customers
- IEEE, IEEE DataPort
- National Association of Colleges and Employers, NACE's HBCU Summit
ASAE’s Summit Awards Dinner will take place September 28 at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC, bringing together association executives, industry partners and business and community leaders for an evening to celebrate the value of associations and their impact on society.
