ASAE Partners with CBRE to Explore Long-Term Real Estate Options
WASHINGTON— ASAE has signed an exclusive representation agreement with CBRE to explore real estate options beyond its current lease agreement at ASAE Headquarters at 1575 I Street NW, Washington, DC, expiring in 2026.
ASAE embarked on a rigorous search for a real estate partner over the past year, working with the ASAE Real Estate Task Force appointed by then-ASAE Chair Steven Anderson, FASAE, CAE, IOM, president and CEO of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.
“With ASAE’s current lease expiring in 2026, ASAE has an opportunity to explore a wide range of options for premier office and meeting space befitting ASAE’s role as the global professional home for association professionals,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “ASAE is strategically evolving to meet the changing needs of our stakeholders – a journey we are calling Destination 2026. As we continue our progression, we are excited to partner with CBRE to secure a state-of-the-art professional environment for ASAE’s staff and other stakeholders.”
ASAE has occupied space at 1575 I Street NW in Washington, DC, since 1980. ASAE sold a limited partnership in the building in 2015.
