ASAE Research Foundation Announces 20 John H. Graham Fund Scholarship Recipients for ReadyMe Program
WASHINGTON— The ASAE Research Foundation has announced 20 recipients of John H. Graham Fund scholarships to pursue professional and personal development through ASAE’s ReadyMe Program.
ASAE’s ReadyMe Program is a technology-based essential skills development program designed to meet the needs of association professionals seeking to expand their leadership capacity and develop a more diverse candidate pool for association C-suite positions. The program combines online learning and virtual mentorship with a one-day in person ReadyMe Leadership Academy. The inaugural Leadership Academy was held June 13 at The Madison Hotel in Washington, DC.
The ASAE Research Foundation announced earlier this year the utilization of the John H. Graham Fund to support 20 scholarships for underrepresented association professionals to complete their ReadyMe journey. The John H. Graham Fund was established in 2020 by the ASAE Board of Directors with the support of ASAE Past Chairs and ASAE Fellows, in celebration of the life and legacy of ASAE’s former president and CEO, John H. Graham IV, FASAE, CAE. The John H. Graham Fund is a restricted fund administered by the ASAE Research Foundation to support the development of research, resources, tools and programs to help associations in their DEI journey.
“ASAE congratulates the 20 John H. Graham Fund ReadyMe scholarship recipients and we look forward to watching them advance their careers in association management,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “Cultivating leadership pathways for talented, ambitious, and entrepreneurial-thinking association professionals is a strategic priority for ASAE. We also thank the donors to the John H. Graham Fund who helped make this scholarship opportunity possible.”
