Twelve Association Scholars Named to ASAE’s 2023-2025 DELP Class
WASHINGTON— ASAE has announced the selection of 12 scholars for the 2023-2025 Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP), the second class since the DELP program was redesigned to better align with ASAE’s strategic framework and Conscious Inclusion strategy.
Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) is a two-year program that supports individuals from under-represented identity groups to advance into the ranks of leadership in the association management profession. DELP scholars participate in an accelerated leadership program of education, mentoring and volunteer service in the association community.
“Congratulations to the members of the 2023-2025 DELP class,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “As the global home of the association community, ASAE takes seriously its responsibility to invest in the leadership development of under-represented populations. DELP has had a remarkable impact since its inception 23 years ago, boosting scholars’ readiness to achieve their career goals and cultivating the talent pipeline for the association management profession. We’re excited to welcome this next wave of DELP scholars and we look forward to watching them grow.”
ASAE thanks Visit Detroit for its ongoing support of the DELP program for more than 20 years. Visit Detroit’s steadfast support of DELP has enabled the development of more than 230 diverse association leaders in the community.
