Submitting a Proposal for ASAE Digital Content
Content Guidelines
This submission is for developing free to members on demand content that will live in ASAE Academy. ASAE is looking for subject matter experts who are interested in providing association specific content to ASAE members and learners. ASAE is open to a wide variety of topics relating to association management and operations. ASAE also strongly prefers that content aligns with our CAE Exam domains in order to make sure it is specific to association management and operations.
Here is an example of the most recent exam content outline (PDF).

General Approval Process/Timeline
Of course, we know you are eager to hear back from us on your submission and trust we are eager as well! Please allow the digital learning team at least two weeks to review your submission and email back with a decision. Should your submission match learning criteria, we will email a follow-up on the next steps.
Submitter Qualifications
ASAE is searching for subject matter experts who have at least five years of experience in the association industry. Association executives and staff are our highest priority, but consultants, vendors, attorneys, and others relevant to association management are welcome to submit a proposal as well. We welcome submitters including an association executive co-speaker, and love to see case studies and examples. We are committed to ensuring that all content developed is purely educational and not marketing for external services. We also prefer submissions for new content, as opposed to presentations and content that has already been used elsewhere.
Speaker Agreement
ASAE requires contributors to sign our Contributor Agreement (PDF). Please feel free to review the PDF contract and email the Digital Learning Team with any questions you may have. Should your proposal meet criteria, the Digital Learning team will adapt the above contract.
