Terin Bates is a dedicated leader in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Director of Volunteer Management, Diversity, and Inclusion at Inteleos, a healthcare certification organization. For the past six years, she has made significant contributions to Inteleos, where she has played a pivotal role in shaping strategies for promoting diversity and inclusion within the workforce, both on the staff and volunteer side.

Previously, Terin spent over two years serving as the Alumni Engagement Manager for a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of low-income youth by connecting them to college and career. There she oversaw the development and execution of the strategic plan to engage a network of more than 50,000 program alumni. When she wasn’t working, Terin spent time volunteering with Reading Partners, an organization mobilizes communities to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade.

With a Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston and an MBA from American University, specializing in DEI, Terin has honed her skills and knowledge to champion inclusive practices in organizations. Throughout her career, Terin has earned certifications in the DEI field, demonstrating her commitment to fostering diverse and equitable environments.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Terin finds joy in exploring new cultures through travel and cherishing precious moments with her family. As a devoted wife and mother of two young children, she values the importance of work-life balance and strives to create a harmonious blend between her professional aspirations and personal fulfillment.
