Tamesha Logan is an accomplished Senior Leader with a remarkable track record of over 17 years. Throughout her career, she has provided transformative organizational leadership for national and global nonprofit organizations and associations. Her leadership has consistently led to significant improvements, including successful implementation of organizational change, alignment of strategic direction, and fostering team-oriented cultures that optimize performance and outcomes. As an Associate Executive Director, she provides expertise in a range of operational and leadership functions, including overseeing several departments for a national association that represents the profession of athletic training. In addition, she has led efforts that increased overall market opportunity for athletic trainers, strengthened partnerships to advance the mission of NATA, enhanced overall operational effectiveness, led the organization through a strategic plan to align around key outcomes as well as enhanced its volunteer engagement program. During the last decade, she has sharpened her skills in enhancing the value of brands for a variety of industries and organizations. Her efforts have led to increased revenue generation through multimedia advertising strategies and public awareness campaigns. One such campaign was focused on promoting safety in youth sports which received immense support from sports philanthropists such as the late Kobe Bryant, Ken Griffey Jr., as well as Mark Cuban, the owner of Shark Tank and the Dallas Mavericks. She has spearheaded media efforts that have resulted in billions of national media and social impressions, raising awareness for important causes such as the need for appropriate care for collegiate athletes. A recent example of her work involved advocating for athletic trainers to have autonomous authority to care for college athletes, without any challenges. This initiative was documented on ESPN’s Outside the Lines and generated over 1 billion national media impressions, including Forbes, USA Today, and HuffPost. More importantly, it led to discussions that aimed to improve safety in sports for college athletes. Tamesha earned a Bachelor of Arts from Sam Houston State University, an MBA from Texas Southern University, and a certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School Online.
