Jose Segarra, MNA, CAE, brings over two decades of expertise in nonprofit administration and strategic leadership to his current role as Strategic Director & Senior Account Executive at Bostrom. In this role, Jose serves as the Executive Director of the Association of Colleges and University Auditors and manages the entire meetings department at Bostrom.

With a career spanning since 2,000, Jose has consistently demonstrated his commitment to advancing association missions through analytical expertise and a keen understanding of governance dynamics.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Jose relocated to Chicago in 1998, where he embarked on his journey in the nonprofit sector. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communications from Loyola University-Chicago, and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from North Park University, Jose has honed his skills in strategic planning, relationship cultivation, and team collaboration.

Jose's career trajectory includes impactful roles at esteemed organizations such as the American Hospital Association, the American Board of Medical Specialties, and the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association, Association Management Center, and Bostrom. He earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) in 2007 and further augmented his credentials with the Certified Nonprofit Professional designation from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance in 2019.
