Hanif Smith is an Account Executive at Nonprofit Resources, an Association Management Company, and has been serving associations for 19 years and. He serves as Executive Director for the Healthcare Hospitality Network, the American Society for the Alexander Technique, and the United States affiliate of the International Building Performance Simulation Association. Previously he served medial associations in the Caribbean as Managing Director of the region’s only Association Management Company. During that time he planned and executed medical conferences, managed continuing education and certification programs, led membership recruitment and retention efforts, and provided strategic guidance to volunteer boards. Prior to his work in the association world, Hanif worked as a Community Development Officer for Jamaica’s Social Development Commission. In that capacity he worked closely with community and civic leaders to identify development priorities and apply for international funding to support local development efforts. Hanif received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology.
