Programmer/Analyst

Plans, develops, modifies, tests, and documents computer software in support of business and technical requirements. Consults with internal users to identify current operating procedures and clarifies objectives for computer programs and reports. Identifies problems and recommends changes to software, database tables, programming methodologies, and safeguards. May serve as a technical project manager. May assist the Top Technology Position in long-term and strategic planning. In larger organizations, duties may be split between applications and systems programming.

Computer Specialist/Helpdesk Tech

Monitors the local area network (LAN), the main computer system, list server technology, and the telephone system for maximum efficient operation. Tracks support requests. Identifies and resolves and/or escalates hardware- and software-related issues for resolution. Works directly with internal users.

Manages all aspects of the association's website, including technical infrastructure, upkeep, and troubleshooting. Monitors industry standards and techniques to recommend changes to ensure effective use of the website to achieve the association’s goals.

Website Content Coordinator/Manager

Manages the maintenance and accuracy of website content. Writes, edits, codes, and publishes website content. Develops and designs pages using a variety of internet tools. Works closely with the Webmaster to ensure all site changes and additions are published in a timely manner.

Network Engineer

Installs, configures, and maintains network systems, services, and security. May also oversee cabling. Installs and configures new and existing software applications; efficiently uses network utilities to monitor network usage and network security.

Database Administrator

Develops, maintains, and optimizes all in-house databases with emphasis on availability, reliability, scalability, and security. Installs, administers, and supports the association management software (AMS). May administer e-business functions relating to the delivery of data. May have responsibility for technical research for database and software upgrades and have significant client and vendor contact

Ensures the integrity of records maintained in databases. Responsible for data integrity, system testing, and documentation of processes and procedures.
