Thought-Provoking Content, Chart-Topping Entertainment Awaits Attendees of 2022 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition – Nashville Plays Host to First In-Person ASAE Annual Meeting in Three Years

June 9, 2022

ASAE and host city Nashville are pulling out all the stops to welcome attendees to the 2022 ASAE Annual Meeting and Exposition – the first ASAE Annual Meeting in person since 2019 – taking place at the Music City Center August 20-23.

“ASAE can’t wait to welcome the association community in person to our flagship event of the year – the ASAE Annual Meeting and Exposition,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “The ASAE team and our longtime partners in Music City are working hand in hand to ensure an unforgettable learning and networking experience for attendees this summer. It’s been a long time coming but the wait is almost over.”

ASAE’s 2022 Annual Meeting, themed “Disruption=Opportunity,” champions a shift in thinking about constant change, from one of apprehension and uncertainty to undefined and exciting possibilities. A wide range of content will be part of attendees’ learning experience this year, with more than 100 sessions offered in a variety of formats.

Main stage speakers include physicist, biotech entrepreneur and former public company CEO Safi Bahcall, whose book Loonshots: How to Nurture the Crazy Ideas that Win Wars, Cure Diseases and Transform Industries combines physics, business and history to reveal a new way of thinking about group behavior; Nashville-based investor, entrepreneur and author Marcus Whitney, founding partner of Jumpstart Health Investors, the most active venture capital firm in America focused on innovative, healthcare companies with a portfolio of over 100 companies; and GRAMMY-nominated musician and LGBTQ advocate Cidny Bullens, currently writing his memoir, TransElectric, an inspirational story about singing with your authentic voice.

Music City has lined up performances for ASAE attendees that include GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, AMA and People’s Choice Award-winning super group Little Big Town; acclaimed country artist Phil Vassar; multi-talented vocalist Wendy Moten; pop singer/songwriter Ben Rector; world-renowned guitarist Regi Wooten; and Nashville-based singer/songwriter Joe West.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to bring our ASAE friends back to Music City,” said Butch Spyridon, CEO of Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “To host the first annual meeting in three years is a responsibility we do not take lightly, and we will do our best to not let anyone down! The new ASAE will meet the new Nashville in epic fashion.”

Register now for the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition and start planning for your own unique learning and networking experience in Nashville.
